Context & Rationale
Inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s 5F vision (Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign), Bharat Tex has emerged as a definitive global stage for the entire textile value chain. What began in 2024 as a landmark initiative to showcasing India’s holistic textiles manufacturing ecosystems to the global audience, has rapidly matured into the world’s largest integrated textile expo, fostering high-level policy discussions and international trade partnerships across more than 140 countries.
Building on the momentum of the previous two editions, Bharat Tex 2026 is positioned as a strategic platform for deepening global textile partnerships. Following a record-breaking 2025 event, which brought together over 5,200 exhibitors and 6,100+ international buyers from over 120 countries, the upcoming edition solidifies India’s podium position in the global industry. By integrating traditional craftsmanship with advanced technical textiles, Bharat Tex serves as a critical bridge for investment, sustainability and technological collaboration, shaping the future of global textile trade.
Bharat Tex serves not only as an exhibition but as a strategic convergence platform, enabling trade partnerships, investment linkages, technology transfer and policy collaboration, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and future-ready manufacturing. With participation from 130+ countries, 3500+ business exhibitors, 7000+ global buyers and large-scale B2B engagements, the platform has rapidly evolved into a key gateway for international textile trade.
