Aneet Padda Shines as Lakmē’s Gen Z Ambassador, Making Her Fashion Week Runway Debut
New Delhi, 12 October 2025: In a defining creative collaboration, Lakmē partnered with celebrated designer Tarun Tahiliani to bring its latest beauty statement, Lakmē Be-Jewel, to life at Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI, a collection that reinterprets jewel tones through contemporary artistry.
Expanding on this vision, the collection came alive on the runway with sculpted gowns, fluid drapes, and statement accessories that showcased the layering, shimmer, and playful versatility that defines Lakmē Be-Jewel. The presentation highlighted how modern maximalism can be luminous, expressive, and effortlessly wearable, bringing the designer’s philosophy to life with every movement.
Lakmē’s Gen Z ambassador, Aneet Padda, made her highly anticipated Fashion Week runway debut as the showstopper, marking a memorable moment in her journey as a rising muse of contemporary Indian beauty. Her presence embodied the youthful energy and boldness that complement Tarun Tahiliani’s timeless craftsmanship and the collection’s modern maximalism.

The Design Studio of Tarun Tahiliani celebrated the designer’s signature artistry with timeless creations that embodied modern Indian luxury. Held at The Grand New Delhi, Vasant Kunj, the showcase blended effortless sophistication with expressive individuality, from fluid OTT prêt to statement accessories and the debut of TT Tijori, a new line of precious jewellery. The presentation traced the moods of jewels through freshwater and saltwater pearls, Swarovski-embellished silver, vibrant Jadau craftsmanship, and the refined shimmer of lab-grown coloured diamonds — a world where being bejeweled is dazzling, restrained, and infinitely versatile.
Sunanda Khaitan, Vice President – Lakmē elaborated on why Tarun Tahiliani was the perfect collaborator for the Lakmē Grand Finale: “Lakmē Be-Jewel is about reimagining maximalism for today: bold, radiant, yet easy and wearable. Tarun Tahiliani’s collection captures this spirit perfectly, and Aneet Padda’s debut as our showstopper brings the youthful energy that completes the story. Together, the show and collection celebrate how fashion and beauty can be luminous, expressive, and entirely Indian.”
Aneet Padda, the new GenZ face of Lakmē said, “Walking for the Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI runway for the first time was a thrilling experience. Being part of Lakmē Be-Jewel allowed me to embody modern maximalism in a way that feels luminous, expressive, and effortless. Collaborating with Tarun Tahiliani and seeing his artistry come alive on the runway was truly inspiring, and I hope this showcase encourages everyone to embrace their own brilliance”.

Tarun Tahiliani, renowned designer expressed his vision for his collection: “For me being bejeweled has never just been about wearing ornaments. It is about the light that comes from within and how that light is translated to Indian sensuality in clothing. With this collection I wanted to celebrate that spirit and each silhouette is reflective of it – luminous, layered and wearable. Just like Lakmē Be-Jewel. Collaborating with Lakmē allows me to explore how fashion and beauty can together create moments that feel celebratory yet effortlessly modern, and of course there are exquisite jewels paired with the clothes”.
With Tarun Tahiliani’s artistry and Lakmē Be-Jewel’s radiant philosophy at the forefront, the Grand Finale on 12th October 2025 was a captivating culmination of creativity, modernity, and timeless Indian glamour.
