New Delhi, 10th October, 2025: Ever since 2005 when Samant Chauhan launched his label, the designer has carved an enviable niche in the Indian fashion Industry. Known for his passion for indigenous textiles like the popular Bhagalpur silk and his inventive use of embroidery, Samant Chauhan has unveiled grand opulent collections.

At Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI, his collection aptly titled “First Breath” was a breathtaking rendition of styles and silhouettes that unveiled a clever interplay of light and darkness. The very eye-catching ensembles were designed expertly to highlight the architectural tailoring by Samant for the luxurious silks. The use of Swarovski crystals ensured a gentle shimmer for the surface texturing of the collection.
While the embroidery stayed true to a delicate fragile vision, it was the silhouettes that were sharply visualized with elegant, elongated lines that were at times creatively cinched for stylish impact. There was a controlled dialogue in the display of Samant’s fashion offering that was brought to the forefront in complete unison with fabrics, colours, detailing and silhouettes.
The “First Breath” collection envisioned by Samant Chauhan projected a stylish grandeur, which was more than just a couture offering but a dramatic showcase of disciplined construction and structured silhouettes.
