RINA DHAKA’S COLLECTION WAS A BLEND OF ELEMENTS AND
TRADITIONAL CRAFTS AT LAKMĒ FASHION WEEK IN PARTNERSHIP WIT
FDCI
New Delhi, 12th October, 2025: An ardent advocate of ecofriendly, sustainable fashion that
moves from zero carbon waste fabrics to fashion, Rina Dhaka, one of the pioneers in the
Indian fashion industry, unveiled her collection of traditional crafts and masterful blends at
Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI.
Nitibha Kaul the stunning internet sensation opened Rina Dhaka’s creative vision for the
coming season wearing a pair of ink blue, innovatively designed harem pants teamed with a
sleeveless peplum blouse.

For her Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Rina’s experiments with rich colours, plissé
textures, intricate hand embroidery and the transformation of waste materials, was directed at
new fashion and creative visions. There was a distinct organic feel of the 90’s spirit that
evoked an ‘Out of Africa’ nostalgic feeling.
Rina’s use of thread work was inventive. She brought on centre stage some wide-legged
trousers, then added distorted trench coats that projected an interesting fashion sensibility.
The knits told their distinct story, while Rina reimagined cargo looks and turned them into
contemporary offerings.
Her colour palette spoke a tale wrapped in nature, when versatile colours of wood and
leaves were intertwined to offer a mélange of sensual elegance and modern tradition. “Like
leaves swaying in the wind, the collection flows with the rhythm of nature organic, free,
and timeless” said Rina.

The very elegant and stylish, Natalia Magdalena Janoszek, created a stir on the ramp when
she made her show stopping entry in a stylized, ivory, mesh, threadwork long, skirt with a
matching intricately crafted bralette. The creative forearm cover was a trendy touch.
Rina Dhaka’s collection for the coming season spoke a sustainable fashion language for the
ensembles in cotton, which moved seamlessly from farm to apparel – all achieved with zeropesticides.
TANIEYA KHANUJA SHOWCASED A FASHION NARRATIVE FROM HERITAGE
TO CONTEMPORARY GRANDEUR AT LAKMĒ FASHION WEEK IN
PARTNATERSHIP WITH FDCI
Glamour, sophistication and luxurious textures have been the leitmotif of Tanieya Khanuja’s
collections. “Desire Dynasty” showcased by Tanieya at Lakmē Fashion Week in
partnership with FDCI, revolved around a stylish tribute to elegance and regal style that
would appeal to the discerning connoisseurs of modern fashion.
The spirit of dynastic legacies was evident in the ensembles, as they revealed heritage with
modern grandeur. Opulence was visible in Tanieya’s fashion language, along with a marked
sense of sophistication, drapes, luxurious textures and intricate details. A touch of aristocratic
ambience was evident in the effortless grace of the collection.
Structured ensembles displayed a stylish authority, while fluid drapes indicated a distinct
royal indulgence. Tanieya’s fashion direction was totally focused on a celebration that
revolved around a strong sense of lineage, legacy and luxury.
Colours to watch out for in Tanieya’s collection, moved gracefully from crimson red,
emerald green and mocha to deep midnight navy, ivory and dramatic black. The ensembles
were a feminine symphony of sculpted, weightless looks, for the sensuous gowns, hourglass
Bloom dresses and the designer’s signature merger of prét and couture that vied for attention
on the ramp.
The embellishments were a narrative focused on an impressive manner, as hand embroidered
florals and sequins brought contemporary grandeur to the collection.
“Desire Dynasty is my ode to strength and elegance, a celebration of my signature
empowering pieces that remain bold, timeless, and inspiring. Every silhouette is sculpted to
empower, while flowing with the grace of femininity. For me, couture is where structure meets
emotion, and desire meets dominance,” explained Tanieya Khanuja
