NIKITA MHAISALKAR’S COLLECTION AT LAKMĒ FASHION WEEK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FDCI CELEBRATED CELESTIAL FASHION MAGIC THAT WENT BEYOND STYLE

New Delhi, 11th October, 2025: Nikita Mhaisalkar looked at fashion that was beyond the senses or imagination at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. Aptly titled simply as “Beyond”, the line was a magical, celestial fashion celebration that took its inspirations from the cosmos and grandeur of the galaxies, starburst and constellations that were cleverly converted into couture with intricate craftsmanship.

The very confident and stylish Sahil Salathia made a flamboyant entry, when he opened the show in relaxed trousers, a cowl neck blouson and shimmering trench coat.

The fabrics that created a stylish stir on the runway, moved from hemp denim and jersey, sheer silk georgette and Welvette, while the signature prints dazzled on the textiles. Adding some interesting contrasts, Nikita brought a variety of tweeds that sparkled with Banarasi Zari.

Nikita also developed a line of unique signature fabrics and emphasized her surface texturing skills with Zari and hand cut sequins, stones and metallic threads that created the magic of stardust on the fabrics. To further project the galactic effect, crystals and shiny holographic raw materials, completed the ethereal effect.

Silhouettes that Nikita favoured, matched the mood of the inspiration, when fluid drapes and sculpted forms, sheer overlays and swirling tulles were imagined for ensembles. The structured corsetry, asymmetric cuts, suits, sharply tailored and styled evening wear, celebratory dresses and club wear, offered a versatile fashion menu. A detailing that was eye-catching on the ramp, comprising Ratan Bamboo, which was the highlight of the collection for the futuristic corsets.

The gorgeous Shalini Passi brought the glittering show to an end with her magical presence, as she moved gracefully down the runway in a velvet and sheer fish tail gown with shimmering halter straps.

Nikita Mhaisalkar took the audience on a grand celestial fashion odyssey with her “Beyond” collection that was an ideal offering for buyers who look for future forward fashion during the coming season.

MAHIMA MAHAJAN UNVEILED A DELICATE ETHEREAL COLLECTION AT LAKMĒ FASHION WEEK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FDCI

The name Mahima Mahajan immediately evokes visions of glamorous creations that dazzle the senses. The lady started her fashion brand in 2015 and since then her journey has not only been successful but known for her designing skills to dream up elegant, fashionable, functional, ethnic wear with western sensibilities.

Inspired by her grandmother’s interest in floral prints, Mahima continued to carry this memory for her creations.  Her line of ensembles has been vast and varied and has dazzled women who long for grandeur in their wardrobes. From lehenga style saris to bridal lehengas and Indian bridesmaid dresses, Mahima’s collections have a refreshing bridal wear appeal that caters to every member of the entourage.

Mahima’s designs have not only been favorites with Indian celebs and Bollywood stars, but her Indian apparel has found a very eager and favourable global audience.

Popular influencer, Juhi Godambe was the elegant opening celebrity, who moved stylishly down the runway in a pastel, floral, printed lehenga, tiny choli and matching dupatta.

Mahima Mahajan’s latest collection “Fanah” at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI, was an ode to love. Mahima’s designs have allowed the buyers to move away from reality and into a blossoming reverie whenever they have worn her ensembles.

The Mahima Mahajan signature florals appeared as delicate embroidery for the varying textures, while the palette of pastel hues moved serenely to rich jewel tones. “Fanah” according to Mahima is not just a collection but a fashionable love story. Prints floated gently on stunning floor kissing gowns, while the lehenga and choli duos captivated the buyers. Saris and cholis were dappled with discreet shimmer over floral prints. Mahima Mahjan’s occasion wear offering moved through saris, Anarkalis, dresses, sharara and Kurta sets as well as bridal trousseaux.

The lovely Bollywood star, Vaani Kapoor was a picture of graceful elegance as she ended the dazzling show in a swirling, printed lehenga and corset blouse with spaghetti straps.

The “Fanah” collection by Mahima Mahajan can only be described as a lyrical, fashion poem in tulle and thread that will dazzle the senses of  stylish ladies when they are in search of stunning, memorable  ensembles.
