A Bombay-born Zoroastrian, Mrs. Singh moved to Jaipur in 1985, where she began working at Anokhi under the guidance of mentor Faith Singh, helping build its retail business. design. What began as a small children’s clothing store soon evolved when customers expressed a growing demand for adult wear. In 2000, Cottons Jaipur was launched with its first store in Jaipur. The brand’s early focus on simple silhouettes, breathable cottons, and accessible pricing struck a chord, leading to expansion into Delhi, followed by Gurgaon and Mumbai.
